November 18, 2017

In November, 2016, we knew.  Did we hear God's audible voice say "Go to Paris"?  No, but He began to give us what our dear pastor friend, Rick, calls "words"--messages from our daily living and Bible readings used to speak to us.

One of the first words was a focal passage from The American Church in Paris, a place we believe God can use us. In their monthly newsletter (which we receive online) we read:

"Also seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which
I have carried you into exile.
Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers,
you too will prosper"
                                                        Jeremiah 29:7

While we don't consider our move an "exile", it is still a foreign
place away from family and friends and a way of life we have always known.

And so we began praying for Paris.

Slowly, remember this began a dozen or so years ago, we began to see God putting all the pieces together.  And in 2016 we had no idea how many pieces there really were!!!!!!!

But the pieces don't fit yet...
