Once upon a time...summer of 2006, we traveled to Italy with our daughter, Courtney, and her husband, Nathan. It was a beautiful place and a wonderful trip. What's not to love about sun-filled skies, blue waters and pasta and pizza for every meal!!???
Each night David and I would walk to the piazza for dinner then stroll the ancient cobblestone streets while musicians played, people mingled with one another and warm breezes carried the aromas of fabulous fresh foods.
We didn't realize until we returned home how much we'd enjoyed those evenings and that "cafe" lifestyle.
The seed had been planted....
